about

The concept of the 'Garden' holds a lot of connotations in my head, but primarily, The Secret Garden is that place in our head that we all take a stroll down too when times get hard or you need a space for calm.
This solitude that lies deep within all of our souls is a well of infinite power and knowledge if we can learn how to access it.

Massive, huge, fucking great Thanks to Sylvain Achache for the incredible artwork. The one man whom can see what it is that goes on in my head, and make an astonishingly beautiful, perfect work of art out of it. Thanks again Sylvain, you are a legend my man :)

The soul source of inspiration for this EP, lies on the shoulders of the most incredible person in the world, the most beautiful soul that ever was, somebody I love from the deepest depths of my heart. This is for you.

Track Name: The Secret Garden
Verse 1
Two words forged in the black part of your heart
Climb up through your throat, Slip off your lips
Dace through the air, like smoke would to a strobe light
Claw their way into my eardrums
In my stomach they will sit and rot

Chorus
The walls beneath your smile
Stretch as far as the horizon behind your eyes
Less a shade each time
That voiceless void inside you is not your friend
Caught between two minds
In your garden’s where I’ll find you I’ll meet you there
If you’ll show me the way in

Verse 2
The black grass wilts beneath the moon suffocating in the dark
Sprawled out on the haggard table screams his legs are rotting in the mud
Tangle of branches overhead spit out the moon like broken glass
Tangle of branches overhead spit out the moon like broken glass

Chorus
The walls beneath your smile
Stretch as far as the horizon behind your eyes
Less a shade each time
That voiceless void inside you is not your friend
Caught between two minds
In your garden’s where I’ll find you I’ll meet you there
If you’ll show me the way in

Build up
Meet me in the garden
Where time doesn’t exist
The grass is always greener there

Chorus
The walls beneath your smile
Stretch as far as the horizon behind your eyes
Less a shade each time
That voiceless void inside you is not your friend
Caught between two minds
In your garden’s where I’ll find you I’ll meet you there
If you’ll show me the way in
Track Name: Faith
Verse 1
My chain of thought’s got me tied to the floor in my bedroom
My legs are crossed, eyes are shut and now I can see
My longing to travel the world, change the world from my bedroom
I’ve got everything I need right here and now I can see

Pre-Chorus
That if the past hurts and the scars burn
And it makes you fell sick to cast a thought into last year
Just know the past is non-existent, the present’s a gift
You’ve got to Love, Laugh and just let go

Chorus
When my eyes shut I wake up, the pain seems to fade
I’ve got my health and I’ve got faith
Roll on you crazy world
When my eyes shut I wake up, the past seems to fade
I trust myself and I trust fate
The world in turn will take my hand

Verse 2
You struck a chord reminding me that my heart longs for love but it belongs to me
So for that I’ll say thank-you
This stuff, of course got dark and messed up, I never wanted to be like that I just got stuck in the groove
So to my garden I ran too

Pre-Chorus
But if the past hurts and the scars burn
And it makes you fucking sick to cast a thought into last year
Just know the past is non-existent, the present’s a gift
You’ve got to Love, Laugh and just let go

Chorus
When my eyes shut I wake up, the pain seems to fade
I’ve got my health and I’ve got faith
Roll on you crazy world
When my eyes shut I wake up, the past seems to fade
I trust myself and I trust fate
The world in turn will take my hand

Middle 8
Ill stroll down to my garden
Where it all started and where it will end
I found peace in my garden
Its comfort will carry me till the end
But if the past hurts and the scars burn
And it makes you fucking sick to cast a thought into last year
Just know the past is non-existent, the present’s a gift
You’ve got to Love, Laugh and just let go

Chorus
When my eyes shut I wake up, the pain seems to fade
I’ve got my health and I’ve got faith
Roll on you crazy world
When my eyes shut I wake up, the past seems to fade
I trust myself and I trust fate
The world in turn will take my hand
Track Name: A Story of the Ocean
Verse 1
We fall, it’s pushed us to the edge and now the binds we had before have come undone
I must admit I half expected you too..
I’ve walked the plank before but no the sea, she’s turned against me and the ship im sailing seems to be on fire
I must admit I half expected you too..
I needed this more than anything

Chorus
But now the wheels in motion
I’ve lost faith in this bridge on which I’m standing
And the riddles of your world suddenly make sense to me
I’d lost faith in the ocean
But down on those steps was where I found it again
And the ripples through the water told me a story of freedom

Verse 2
We fall, Like soldiers to the war
The voices in my head are telling me to run I think they spoke to yours
I must admit I half expected them too
I’ve said it all before
I’ve got deep tanks and vast bottle banks, an army of tanks to fight my wars
I must admit I half expected you too

Chorus
But now the wheels in motion
I’ve lost faith in this bridge on which I’m standing
And the riddles of your world suddenly make sense to me
I’d lost faith in the ocean
But down on those steps was where I found it again
And the ripples through the water told me a story of freedom

Middle 8
We though we had it all right, but we were meant to fall
And it hurts to think that everything before was in place just to secure this moment
We though we had it all planned out, but we were meant to fall
And it hurts to think that everything before was in place just to secure this moment

Chorus
But now the wheels in motion
I’ve lost faith in this bridge on which I’m standing
And the riddles of your world suddenly make sense to me
I’d lost faith in the ocean
But down on those steps was where I found it again
And the ripples through the water told me a story of freedom
